Success on the fields!
Although our precipitation levels increased significantly this week plenty of showers midweek, our intensive review of field sampling methods prior to the de-greening process was success yielding positive results.
More consistent findings in sugar content and internal maturity between fruits resulted in improved flavor and aroma, even with our preemptive measures to counter the heavy rainfall and harvest more fruit at 20 WAF.
Given the variable climatic conditions during this time of the year, this seems like a great precursor to the year ahead!
