2015: Week 39 at the Source (Week 41 in the market)

Good. Good. Great! All quality levels are reporting excellent results. The recent weeks of improvements in both fruit characteristic and farming practices have paid off – with time making up for this season’s heavy downpours. With just three inches of rainfall (72.9 mm) in only two days, Week 39 is officially considered a dry week!

Farms continue to target harvest age at 21 WAF with approximately only 26% harvested at the age of 20 WAF. In addition to the good news, we have continued to take a proactive approach to the rainy days ahead by advancing our soil preparation and issuing as much ready to plant inventory.
