  • The week was definitely a continuation of the “Veranillo de San Juan” (period with unseasonable dry conditions)
    • 23.1 mm (< 1 inch) of precipitation was recorded
    • Average and minimum temperatures stable
    • Relative humidity was 83.9%
  • Vigorous plant growth, stable quality, improved external color and darn good internal conditions and color!
  • Harvest age was reduced slightly with 68% at 21 WAF, almost 30% at 20 WAF and the balance at 22 WAF
  • NDF fruit made up 39% of the harvested volume
  • 3,587 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by Costa Rican health authorities, approximately 500 cases less than prior week
  • Some easing of restrictions as the government attempts to cautiously open up the economy
