  • Either the atmospheric instability in the Atlantic Ocean (Hurricane Delta) or an early onset of the rainy season brought
    • Alternating days with heavy showers accumulating  65 mm (2.5 inches) of rainfall
    • Moderate solar radiation
    • Air and soil temperatures rose slightly
  • Harvest age adjusted towards younger fruit
    • Fruit with 20 WAF (weeks after forcing)  now makes up 48.7%
    • Balance is fruit with 21 WAF
  • Sugar content increased, average brix reading is 15.3
  • External and internal color, taste and aroma are all  outstanding – true to our brand “The Perfect Pineapple”
  • Semi commercial trial using drones to apply the ripening agent (ethephon) are underway and with very promising results
  • Law enforcement have been able to maintain highways without roadblocks and our logistics to port is back to normal
  • Coronavirus new cases showing slight decline
