  • Total precipitation has stabilized over the last 2 weeks of the year but temperatures continue low:
    • The rain gauge recorded 64,7 mm – 2 1/2 inches
    • The average declined slightly to 25,4°C (77,8 °F); soil temperature rose to 26,3°C (79,3°F)
    • Solar radiation varied from moderate to low.
    • Relative humidity rose slightly to 84,7%. 
  • Adjustment in harvest age continued – 78.9% harvested at  20 WAF; the balance at 21 WAF.
  • Average sugar content stable at  14.7 but fruit with Brix below 13,5 increased to 13,5 %
  • Field sampling to intensify in the coming weeks to evaluate incidence of NDF
  • Concerns over the possibility of rising Covid infections driving implementation of  further restrictions.
