A dry start to the week with an abrupt midweek increase in precipitation:

  • Heavy downpours accumulated 117.3 mm ( 4.6 “) of rain
  • Air and soil temperatures rose
  • Minimum night temperatures now above 20ºC (68ºF) reducing risk of NDF events
  • High solar radiation first half of the week bringing risk of corky fruit and sunburn

Harvest age tweaked some more – small percentage (4%) harvested at 22 WAFBiggest quality challenge is external color; all other parameters are outstanding

  • Almost 93% of our fruit with sugar content ≥13.5ºbrix
  • Firmness of the pulp is good
  • Taste and aroma are outstanding

New Covid cases continue to show @ 10% increase to 2,830 new cases
