  • Driest week in a month’s time but cooler air temperatures prevailed
    • A few light showers accumulated 34 mm (1.33 inches) of precipitation
    • Minimum air temperature dropped to 20.4 ºC (68.8 ºF) and a during a few nights the low reached below 19 ºC ( 66 ºF).
    • Solar radiation was moderate
    • Humidity dropped to 82.9%
  • Farms increased harvest age – 34.1% of the fruit was harvested at 21 WAF  and the balance at 20 WAF.
  • Sugar content improved –  fruit with brix less than 13.5  made up only 5.6%; fruit with brix greater than 15.5  rose to 42,8%.
  • The variation in brix readings was low
  • External color also improved – less than 20% was color 0.
  • Health authorities reported 7.686 new coronavirus cases (+4,5%); the total is now at 171.719. Reported deaths stand at  2,338 (+120).
