2015: Week 31 at the Source (Week 33 in the market)

July has officially been awarded our third rainiest month in 2015. Although the earlier part of the week collected some heavy downpours (120,6 mm or 4.7 inches) of rainfall, the precipitation tapered off toward the weekend and the farms managed to undertake some land preparation work.

However, as far as the weather front is concerned, we are still not out of the woods. A new tropical wave has been announced to hit our region by the beginning of Week 32.

Yet, this week we are happy to report that despite the challenging weather, we have been able to fulfill our planting program and guarantee an acceptable production volume 12 months from now.
