  • A more defined tropical “winter” shift in our weather is reported this week –
    • 177.9 mm (7.0 inches) of precipitation recorded
    • Air and soil temperatures declined
    • Heavy cloud cover brings limited solar radiation
  • Only soil preparation has been slowed down due weather, all other chores completed in timely fashion.
  • In a few weeks we will intensify field sampling to record possible NDF events
  • Even with less than perfect climatic conditions, quality improved
    • Sugar content at good level and little variance in readings
    • External color improved
  • Authorities reported a 4.6% increase in Covid cases from prior week
