Whether you have specialized equipment or prefer a simple approach, making pineapple soft serve at home is quick and easy. Method one caters to those with professional kitchen equipment, while method two is equipment-free and requires only basic tools. Professional Pineapple Soft Serve

This first recipe is for those who own a food processor. 


1 ½ pounds fresh pineapple, cut into ½ inch pieces

1 ¼ cups unsweetened coconut cream

¼ cup light agave nectar

Pinch of kosher salt

Toasted unsweetened flaked coconut, for garnish


First, cut your Chestnut Hill Farms Perfect Pineapple into bite size pieces in order for them to blend smoothly. Pulse the food processor until the chunks have turned into a smooth consistency. 

Then process the pineapple for 3-4 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed. Once the pineapple has been blended down, add the coconut cream, agave, and a pinch of kosher salt. Condensed milk can also be substituted for coconut cream.

This recipe can also be rearranged to become an adult beverage, swapping half of the coconut cream or condensed milk for your choice of rum. If you don’t own a food processor and are feeling bold check out this recipe that is made using dry ice!

Easy Pineapple Soft Serve At Home  

You’re likely thinking without all the fancy equipment, it will take hours to make homemade soft serve. However, even without all the machines doing the work for you, it is still relatively easy to do by yourself.


½ cup milk

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 tbsp sugar

1 cup pineapple

¼ cup salt

6 cups ice


Combine the milk, sugar, vanilla, and pineapple in a quart-sized plastic food storage bag. Seal tightly and place inside the second-quart bag, and seal. Next, add the double-bagged quart-sized bags into a gallon-size bag and add ice. Then salt the ice and seal the bag. 

Now, wrap the gallon-sized bag in a hand towel or use gloves to massage the ice surrounding the cream mixture and begin to freeze. Continue rubbing until you are happy with the consistency, and in roughly 10-15 minutes, you should have a delicious soft serve. Enjoy!
